Why blog?

When you go to college or work you will probably use technology to communicate with your colleagues.  In college you are often required to complete a weekly reading and then post your thoughts on an online platform.  You are usually required to respond to two or three of your teammates thoughts as well.  These responses are based on academic knowledge, not just opinions.  It is okay to agree or disagree and to ask further questions.  When blogging or posting here are a couple guidelines:

1) Be respectful and punctual.
2)  Use accountable talk and formal language.
3)  When possible make connections to a text (book, magazine, website article), personal experience or world connections.

Class blogs are organized by periods.  Posts will only count for your period, but feel free to read the thoughts of your teammates in other classes.  If you have trouble posting please email me.
